Winter Hobbies

During the cold month of January, the Buffalo Adult Day Center spent some time exploring the Participants favorite hobbies.  Some of the most popular past-times included baking, playing music, crafts, putting together puzzles, playing cards, reading and watching movies.  It was decided, that the group could not decide on what hobbies to try.  So…we tried them all!

The first new hobby we tried was learning a musical instrument. The kazoo!  That was a noisy but humorous afternoon.  Next was learning a new craft. Popsicle stick snowmen and marshmallow igloos. Then, learning a new language, Spanish or Español.  The Participants learned a few greetings, colors, numbers and phrases.  Lots of fun was had by all!

Thanks to all who make this a fun place to live and work!
